OUR UNIQUE APPROACH

BLENDED APPROACH

The Cherry Tree Pathway is delivered through weekly online sessions, alongside a bespoke online classroom and dedicated student communications platform. For those seeking an in-person connection, there is also the opportunity to attend in-person workshops and retreats.

SMALL GROUP WORK

There is power in small group work in making space for a deepening into key areas of the curriculum. An experiential approach is at the heart of our work, and small group spaces allow this to be at the forefront.

DIVERSE & GLOBAL

We welcome all individuals ready to take the next step in their journey, wherever they may be on that path. Students join from all across the world and from different backgrounds which we feel adds to the whole experience of our training.

LIVING CURRICULUM

Our curriculum is ever-changing, just like the world we live in. It responds to the students within it to continually offer a deep and radical process.

What Makes Our Training Unique

At OneSpirit, embarking on a spiritual journey isn’t about simply absorbing a fixed set of teachings; it’s about engaging with a living, evolving curriculum that adapts to the unique needs and experiences of each student. We believe learning is a dynamic, collaborative process — a dance between the material, the tutors, and the students themselves. This approach creates an environment where your insights and contributions are integral to the learning experience.
Our curriculum is designed to be flexible and responsive. It evolves with each new group, shaped by the energy, wisdom, and perspectives of the participants. As a student, your personal journey influences the direction and depth of the entire class, allowing the learning experience to be rich and multifaceted. You’ll not only learn from tutors but also from your peers, creating a supportive community where wisdom is shared and deepened.
OneSpirit’s training honours where you are on your spiritual path, ensuring the material remains relevant and meaningful as you grow. As you change, so does the learning experience, making it uniquely tailored to your journey. No two paths are the same — each class is a fresh opportunity for emergent learning, where every student’s voice and experience shape the process.
We also prioritise creating a safe, sacred space for exploration. Trust and confidentiality are at the heart of our community, allowing you to explore your spirituality with confidence and openness. There are no recordings and no rigid structures, just an environment where you can freely express your thoughts and experiences, knowing you are supported by those around you.
Choosing OneSpirit means committing to a training programme that is as flexible and vibrant as life itself. It’s an immersive, participative journey where the collective learning of the group enhances your own. If you’re seeking an education that evolves with you, that adapts to your personal growth, and that fosters deep, authentic connections, OneSpirit is the path you’ve been looking for.

Opportunities for Connection

We understand that everyone comes to us seeking something unique; whether it’s flexibility, a sense of belonging, or the chance to connect more deeply with others. That’s why we’ve designed the Cherry Tree Pathway to honour these diverse needs. By maintaining an online-only option for accessibility and offering opportunities for in-person gatherings, we create a space that meets you where you are. This pathway is about fostering connection in the way that’s most meaningful for you.

The year is shaped by online weekly classes and these will be a mix of whole class sessions and small group work. A bespoke online classroom will support your independent learning. You will have access to an online communications platform to stay connected between weekly meetings.

Curriculum Delivery

The Cherry Tree Pathway offers a rich and engaging learning experience through a blended approach designed to suit diverse learning styles.

You’ll participate in live weekly classes that foster connection and real-time interaction with tutors and peers, alongside a bespoke online classroom filled with resources to support independent study at your own pace.

Personalised guidance is provided through one-on-one meetings with tutors, offering tailored feedback and support to integrate your learning into your personal and ministerial journey.

In-person opportunities add depth, creating space for embodied learning and community building, allowing you to truly connect with others on the same path.

Rooted in a flipped learning approach, this pathway places independent study at the heart of your progress.

By preparing through personal exploration, you shape and enrich the collaborative work that happens in the classroom, empowering you to take an active role in your transformative journey; this ensures you are both a participant and a co-creator of your educational experience!

Please note, that our classes are only recorded at the tutor’s discretion, and will typically only be recorded when a class contains mainly teaching content, such as when a guest speaker comes to visit (only when the guest speaker gives permission). Live classes are experiential in nature and we understand that our training often involves profound and personal sharing, which forms an integral part of one’s learning journey. This delicate context makes recording these sessions challenging due to the sensitivities involved.

We aim to foster a safe learning environment where students can freely express their thoughts and emotions and we want to encourage uninhibited participation in webinars, and therefore webinars that do not contain specific teaching content tend not to be recorded.

Weekly Classes

Spiritual Practice

During webinars, 1-1 spaces, and study groups you will notice the ways the sacred is invited into the seemingly every day. You are expected to maintain a daily spiritual practice that will support you in your ministry.

Ensuring Accessibility and Support for All Learners

To fully participate in this programme, you will need:

  • A computer with high-speed internet access (to download handouts, homework, view video recordings and use Zoom), with a web camera and sound.
  • You should be comfortable using technology to join video calls and have at least a basic level of proficiency in routine tasks like accessing the web, use of email and word processing. You can find more information about this in the FAQ section

All homework assignments are submitted online through the online classroom. One thing we are especially proud of is our understanding that not all learners are the same. Not everyone can or wants to write a two-page paper for their homework. We are very accepting of other forms of submission, whether it be a painting, a collage, a voice memo, a video recording, etc. Just speak with your tutor and we’ll figure out the best way for you to engage! We want this course to always be accessible to you and enjoyable. We don’t want you to have anxiety about a writing assignment, because that’s not important in the grand scheme of things. Your mental health and happiness within the community are what matter most.

We are committed to making this programme inclusive for all types of learners. Whether you are neurodivergent, use a screen reader, or require any other accommodations, we strive to ensure that everyone can fully engage with the material. We take steps to ensure our classroom content is fully inclusive, including making sure we have good colour contrast so text is easily readable, and ensuring that our imagery includes alt text. Any text on top of images is also included in the alt text to ensure it’s picked up by your screen reader. There’s also a setting within Google Chrome that allows the page to be read out to you, and we can help you navigate this if needed.

If you have specific needs or require assistance, please reach out to us. We’ll work with you to make adjustments that support your learning journey. You never know what types of accommodations we’re able to make, so don’t hesitate to ask — we’re happy to find the best way forward together.

We are here to support you every step of the way and ensure that all learners have the tools they need for success.

The OneSpirit Training opened my mind to new and different ways of thinking and dealing with life. It broadened my tolerance and understanding.

I would say most importantly it has given me the confidence and experience that I needed to reinforce all my other experiences and move in this new direction of Ministry.

A theme of my learning this year has been ‘I am enough’; this course has helped me get that. It has given me a beautiful peer group and exposed me to some wonderful tutors and mentors.

I really didn’t understand anything about ceremony before doing this course, and I’m so glad to have a good understanding now. I have learnt a lot. It also helped me clarify—specifically through the writing of the vow—who I am about and how I want to be in the world.
