It is a blessing to be invited to walk alongside another, to hold space for their emotion, love, pain, rawness, truth and groundlessness. To me, we are spiritual beings living a human experience, guided in our return to Love. I believe in sovereignty, in the power and wisdom of the feminine, in surrendering to inner guidance and being a channel for the Presence of Love.
My ministry also calls me to offer ceremonies of union… beautiful unique co-created Commitment, Marriage and Vow Renewal Ceremonies honouring individuals and their beliefs alongside their conscious union. Often magical intimate elopements, held by the elements, in nature, on the beautiful Isle of Skye, my home (see image above!).
I feel my path here is to heal and I’m drawn to work with others in their healing work (usually, but not always, women) through Ceremony… Trauma Clearing… Spiritual Counselling/Accompaniment… teaching Meditation… and through Women’s Circles and Women’s Retreats.

Thank you again for everything! Having you as our celebrant really added to the magic of the day ✨️ And now that we have had a chance to reflect on the day, one thing we really appreciated were all the times you got us to stop and pause throughout the ceremony which meant we were grounded enough to actually remember it. We were saying to each other at the end of the day that, even though the weather was cold, wet, and windy, we had absolutely no regrets and would do it all over again. The day I spent with Jo learning to meditate was a beautiful experience. It felt so special to be doing something different, learning a new skill and also taking time out from a busy schedule to slow down for a day and breathe. Jo held the space so beautifully and I immediately felt I was in very safe hands, with a wonderfully supportive group who I felt honoured to meet and bond with, and to share the whole experience with.
The practice I learned was life-changing, and the decisions I have made since incorporating the meditation practice into my routine have had an enormously beneficial impact on my day-to-day life. Last year, she worked with us to craft a very personal vow renewal ceremony that was held on a misty morning in the gorgeous green hills of the Quiraing. The combination of poetry, symbolic rituals (handfasting and drinking from the quaich) and prose that we worked on together made for a ceremony that was pure magic. Although five stars is the highest rating we can give on this site, she deserves an entire galaxy and if you want a ceremony to treasure, Jo is the very best choice! Where do we start with Jo? This lady is extraordinary! From our very first online meeting we knew we had made the right choice. Her caring, her wisdom, her empathy and personal involvement were always apparent. Jo created an incredible Beltain wedding ceremony for us. I was so focused on organising the wedding reception and dance I hadn’t really thought too much about what kind of ceremony we wanted or what elements to put in there. But over the months and weeks leading up to the big day Jo created the space and time for us to draw out everything we wanted the event to be. We didn’t imagine how meaningful and special it would be. We’ve happily been together as a couple for 12 years and didn’t expect much change, just a great excuse for a party with loved ones, but it became something much more. Jo is highly professional from the get go, but still warm, empathetic, kind, and really got into the heart of who we are as a couple and what would work for us. All the guests commented about how unique and perfect for us the ceremony was. It was Romantic, Magical, spiritual, ancient, fun, informal and completely filled with Love. I feel that it has opened up a new chapter in our lives. It has taken me weeks to come down to earth but things do feel different. The space that Jo held for us really did bring us closer together. The care and attention that Jo bought into every stage of things was amazing and we feel very blessed to have had such an incredible experience. Jo married my partner Adnan and I last week; I’m not sure where to start – she truly made our wedding what it was and that’s not an exaggeration. She really spent the time getting to know us and the result was a ceremony and words that could not have been more perfect. I imagine she spent a long time on our ceremony to get it just right – we’re not typically romantic and wanted a low key ceremony that solidified our union legally, but reflected our relationship and what’s important to us. And that’s what Jo achieved while adding a sprinkling of magic on top that we couldn’t have anticipated. We truly could not imagine anyone more perfect than Jo for our ceremony. Even though we live in PEI Canada and had only met Jo over zoom meetings we instantly felt a connection and knew she was who we wanted as our officiant. She created such heartfelt and personal words for us and made the whole process so easy and stress free. We wanted Jo to hold our ceremony, but unfortunately she wasn\’t available on our wedding date. Jo helped us to find another Interfaith Minister who was available to hold our ceremony on the day, also helping us to think about how to share what we\’d already explored and designed. Jo was wonderful from start to finish. The care and attention to detail she put into our ceremony and the way she pulled it off was nothing short of magical. In our initial meetings she took time to really get to know us. Jo was absolutely incredible from start to finish and the entire process was calm, relaxed and personal. We ran away to Skye for a beautiful ceremony on the beach with just the two of us, unfortunately the amazing Scotish weather had other plans for us but Jo was great and within minutes we were onto plan B and getting married.
