The main emphasis of my personal spirituality is a sense of inner peace and stillness, living in a calm, peaceful yet joyful way.
In addition to being a One Spirit Minister and spiritual counsellor I have taught yoga for 30 years; I am a mindfulness teacher and trained in mindfulness coaching and enquiry. I am also trained in Spiritual and Palliative Care.
I developed an interest in faith traditions in my twenties, travels in Asia increased my understanding and this knowledge deepened substantially during my 2-year Seminary training. All these experiences developed in me a personal spiritual inquiry which is ongoing.

I also teach yoga, both in person and online, the focus of this is a sense of deep awareness and releasing of held tension from the body.
I lead “Explorations of Mindfulness” and Mindful Coaching and Enquiry, in groups and 1 to 1, both online and in person.

I feel these are at the heart of all spiritual traditions.
We knew instantly that Carolyn was the right person to conduct our marriage ceremony. Her warmth, understanding, guidance, sense of humour and genuine love of her work instantly put us as ease and from the first contact right through to our ceremony we knew that Carolyn would be part of our lives for years to come. Carolyn went out of her way to get to know us both as a couple and individually and this was truly reflected in our wedding ceremony which was perfectly unique to us and a day which will be in our hearts forever.
I have attended many of Carolyn’s mindfulness courses over the last 9 years, both in person and recently on zoom. Her warmth and experience is immediately evident and I have learned so much, enabling me to better steer through life’s inevitable ups and downs. I am always impressed by (and grateful for) her ability to respond wisely and humbly to anything that pops up during the sessions, guiding us with mindful wisdom through difficult and interesting topics.
