Introducing The Birch Pathway: A Fully Online Programme

Building on the success of the Aspen Pathway, we’re thrilled to offer the Birch Pathway for 2024. This fully online program is designed to foster personal and ministerial growth through a blend of live weekly webinars, an online classroom filled with resources, and a dedicated student communications platform.

Curriculum: A Blend of Tradition and Innovation

Our curriculum is ever-changing, deeply experiential, and responsive to the evolving world. Structured around six strands, it incorporates the exploration of faith paths and worldviews, ceremony and ritual, deep listening skills, spiritual accompaniment, psycho-spiritual development, and spiritual and pastoral service in the community. Our approach exceeds traditional teachings, inviting a dynamic interaction between students and tutors to facilitate a profoundly experiential learning experience.

Key Objectives of The Birch Pathway:
  • Holistic Development: Delve deep into your spirituality, implementing practices that foster self-discovery and growth.
  • Deep Empathetic Listening: Enhance your ability to connect deeply with others, appreciating global faiths and perspectives crucial for effective ministry.
  • Self-awareness through Self-reflective Practice: Explore self-reflective models to deepen your self-awareness and personal growth.
  • Your Personal Ministry: Investigate the essence of community and interconnectedness, shaping your ministry to be of service to others.
Delivery of the Curriculum:
  • Webinars: Engage in weekly class webinars on Tuesday evenings, facilitated by class tutors and guest speakers, focusing on experiential learning.
  • Study Groups: Connect with peers in study groups, supported by a member of your tutor team, to nourish each other’s spiritual journey.
  • 1-1 Meetings: Reflect on your training journey through regular meetings with your tutor team.

Monica also speaks to the importance of nature in fostering a sense of unity and self-love, and encourages us to find solace in the interconnectedness of the natural world. Through her reflection, she offers a message of hope, reminding us that by embracing connection, we can create a better world—one relationship at a time.
