Life Beyond Death Workshop
There is no death, only life.
OneSpirit invites you to join us for a brand new in-person retreat exploring the theme of Life Beyond Death. In a safe and sacred space, you will explore the theme of death as a transition, with special reference to contemporary near-death studies. As Kahlil Gibran said,
“If you would indeed behold the spirit of death, open your heart wide unto the body of life. For life and death are one, even as the river and the sea are one”.
You are invited to explore the deep connection between the individual self and the Eternal Reality.
KEY FEATURES:
Facilitated by OneSpirit Minister, Martin Nathanael, who has over 40 years of experience in teaching meditation to individuals and groups, leading quiet days and residential retreats, and giving talks or leading courses and workshops on various aspects of inner transformation. Martin will draw on his own near-death experiences as a child, and later as an adult, along with his own experiences of meditation to re-frame your understanding of death as a transition as opposed to an ending. Martin will weave in different spiritual traditions and their understanding of life beyond death to guide you into seeing life as a journey, with the physical being just one stage of it. The day will include meditation as a powerful tool in nurturing you to connect with the deeper levels of existence, and to see everyone and everything as ultimately connected.
